About Wyatt's Favorite Radio
Wyatt's Favorite Radio is a retrospective on the good old days of radio featuring commentary from host Wyatt Cox.A veteran of nearly 30 years, Wyatt has been an old time radio fan since the late 60's when attempts were made to bring back the medium of radio drama with efforts like the CBS Radio Theater.
While Wyatt likes the EG Marshall/Hyman Brown series, he says there's nothing like the originals. "I could listen day in and day out to Jack Benny, Fred Allen, George and Gracie, Lum and Abner, X Minus One and the thousands upon thousands of shows that are out there. I look on what I do with the show as a preservationist. By making these shows available, I fulfill an obligation to those who were on the air before me to keep their works alive."
